Subaru Of Niagara

Based on my previous review, here are the photos of my engine after using designated pry points as per the Subaru service manual. I was unaware of the ability to post photos at the time. Elaine at Subaru insists that I didn't find this damage but I caused it. Subaru of Niagara was the last place my engine was pulled from the car. I refrained from using anything in-between the mating surfaces as this is OBVIOUSLY going to cause damage. Apparently the technicians at Subaru of Niagara don't know that. Here you can clearly see the damage they caused from their negligence on the upper oil pan and chain cover mating surfaces. There are more gauges than just these in the oil pan, upper oil pan and chain cover. I went about machining these surfaces at a reputable machine shop and have the engine back in working order. And some how it still cost the same as they wanted to fix it themselves. I've heard great things about their sales team, but steer clear of their technicians.

I picked up my new Forester last week at Subaru of Niagara. An outstanding experience. Everyone was so friendly and upbeat, even the folks in the waiting area—a good sign. Big shout-outs to Steve, who facilitated my purchase and arrangements, to Sandra, Sean and esp Brayden who were each so kind and helpful in their various roles.The whole place felt organized and, well, unchaotic. I’ve been coming to Subaru of Niagara since day 1! Before they even had a brick and mortar location even… I’ve had nothing but amazing interactions, amazing service, and I’ve been lucky enough to build relationships with many whom work here. I can’t say enough about the team here.. top to bottom. Thanks for always taking care of me and making me feel like family! I look forward to my Subaru of Niagara visits :)
